Flipping Pages
Like a pop-up-book bringing memories back to light -of a different time, and different sights- in a not so different place, "Flipping pages” is a 45 ft mural on wood affixed to block. As a skater and Tempe native myself this work was a fun one to make. This work was made to shed light on buried treasure here in Tempe. In the 1970s a skatepark was built on the site of this mural and has long since been broken up and buried; but the ground still welcomes tricks every now and again.
